3CX Interface - Unexpected Error - LIC_ERR_MT_LICENSE_IS_IN_USE

Hello,
Our server hardware failed and we have moved the system to another server to recover. We appear to have lost the license in the process and we are now getting an error when we try to activate - 3CX Interface - Unexpected Error - LIC_ERR_MT_LICENSE_IS_IN_USE. This is a production v12.5 system on Windows Server 2012. How do we get the license to apply?

you will need to contact your reseller who can contact support or if you have a support contract you can contact 3cx support directly. The license will need to be attached to the new hardware as 3cx keeps tabs so as to prevent unauthorized use.

We do not have a reseller or a support contract and purchase our annual maintenance direct from 3CX, which is valid through 4 October 2016. Who do you suggest we contact? I have emailed [email protected] and [email protected] but have not received a reply.

You'll probably get reply on 4th of January -- 3CX is closed until then.
You should be able to proof ownership of license and the license is not activated on several machines simultaneously.
3CX sales will reactivate the license is proved.
