I came here to report the very low speakerphone volume so it’s good to see it’s already being addressed.

Minor point, but the 3CX splash logo is very pixelated - could you swap in a higher resolution image or perhaps give up on the splash screen altogether?

We will be releasing today an update, keep us informed speaker volume is addressed. Re- Splash Logo could not replicate this but check it on the latest version which will be released today and let me know.

Thanks for your feedback.

I'm finding that when the app is not in focus, an incoming call only rings for a second and then goes away. This did not happen on the old app. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, same issue here. I have reported it through TestFlight. If you have not done so you should as well.

We will be releasing an update today and let me know if the problem is resolved.

Thanks for your input guys.

h.264 is a video codec standard de facto if it is a problem of licensing raise the price of 3CX. We need to see people on the doorphones we don't need to see each other because we already knows who we are. :) The doorphones on the market are supporting h.264 and not vp8.
In a video call if you don't support h.264 It is like you don't support g729 in sip.

I have uninstalled as incoming group calls end up in a group members personal voicemail box if the call is 'busied' on the ios beta app. On the old app a user could busy such a call and it continued to ring for other users

Resolved for me. Thanks!

Hi Team, will the 3cx PBX need to be a specific version or higher in order for the new iOS app to work? I am beta testing it now on my device, however the PBX I am testing on is fully up to date.

I realise all PBXs should be up to date however we do have a few stragglers that are on earlier versions of v16 due to operational restrictions around upgrading etc.

You will need V16 Update 5 to use the new app. The old one will stop working anyway since Apple are shutting down the old Push infrastructure. However, you have until the end of May (approx.) to upgrade all your customers since the app will be in beta until then.

I fully agree. If NO H.264 support - Video support is un-usable - then you can right as well remove it again

I would say this release is more like an Alpha release than a Beta. I uninstalled it.

Killer missing feature for me in the beta is no voicemail indicator :(
