Solved 3CX macos Catalina mic don´t work

hello i have 3cx on mac catalina, i can call and i ear the other person but my mic don't work and is marked has allowed on the setings.

any ideas ?

I have also had similar problems with 3CX unsupported headsets.

But when I am using 3CX officialy supported headset it works as supposed to.

What headset are you using? And what port, USB or 3,5mm jack?

i'm using internal mic and speaker of macbookpro or earbuds from apple

You did check the softphone audio settings if the correct microphone is selected? Settings--->Audio Options--->Audio Devices--->Microphone.

You can also try (found this in another tread), reinstaling softphone from http://downloads-global.3cx.com/downloads/3CXPhoneForMac15.dmg and updating it after reinstalling.

Seems to have solved the issue for some users (original tread: https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/no-microphone-access.64687/)

did that but also didn't work and the permitions are all ok, and don't work
and sometimes don't makes the call
i have to reboot the pc, then make the call but no mic

Hi Vitor

Since the Mac OS client is not longer maintained, I would suggest to use the 3CX Webclient over Chrome.

The new Chrome Extension will take the place of the MacOS client

i have installed but no sound and no mic it makes the call but i can´t ear and the other person don´t ear me.

In your webclient, please go here to select your headset and microphone
When done, you can call *777 Echo Test and talk to see if you hear voice going to and from the PBX
