I am trying to use magic jack as a voip line in 3cx
I have already got the user name password and server info
I am using MJMD5 proxy application
I am able to register and make calls using x-lite
When i put the info into 3cx it says it registers but i am unable to make a call

What does that mean? Silence? Wrong number? Nothing happens? What do the 3CX logs show being sent to the Proxy?

When trying to make a call out using the magic jack service, after dialing there is a pause then a "busy" tone. (the line I am calling is NOT busy)
Server log shows this:

Code:
16:47:54.966 [CM503020]: Normal call termination. Reason: Server Failure
16:47:54.966 [CM503016]: Call(4): Attempt to reach <sip:[email protected]:5060> failed. Reason: Server Failure

let me know what you guys think. I just tried through xlite again and I am able to register and make calls so I know my user names, passwords, server, and proxy settings are valid. It must be something else with 3cx. I am hearing reports from a long time ago that magicjack services where working with 3cx version 6.0 Does anyone know where I can find that?

You need to find out why you are getting the server failure message, something from MJ or just from your proxy.. Wireshark would probably help you out tracking that down. It might well be something to do with how the calling device is identifying itself to the proxy.
Over that last year or so Magicjack has modified the way it does things to prevent people from acquiring their password or using any sort of ATA with their service. There have been reports that what used to work in the past no longer does. I, myself use the service through a Gateway (3CX trunk) plugged into the USB device.

can someone let me know what you need to view from wireshark. I did network captures of both xlite and 3cx registering the line. Dont know where to go from there

I noticed something else. When I click on remote connections in 3cx all of the registration fields are blank

You might want to post each of the registrations.
