Good Day,

Has anyone sucessfully configured a 3CX bridge to Avaya? I have the Master set up on the 3CX side, but the Avaya tech on the other end has never done this before. He's asking me and I've never done it either. :)

Looking for screenshots of the Avaya setup to guide us in our attempt. Thanks.

Unless the Avaya has some "special" trunk configuration for it's own bridge type trunk (PBX to PBX), it would probably just be set up as if the trunk were going to register to a VoIP provider. After that, it is a matter of working out the dialplan at each end.

I have successfully done this but it was a real nightmare to achieve, the Avaya side just did not want to play ball. I can send you some notes if you need.

How are you doing this, directly or via a tunnel ?

All help appreciatted thanks. Please send me a PM if you like.

It is through a VPN tunnel. We have a Mitel <-> Avaya link currently, but are phasing out the Mitel in favour of 3CX.
