My company is using microoft teams to have meetings with staff in the corporation. We would like for an external client to be able to dial in using a phone number to join meetings. Can i get. Also we use a 3cx pbx, can it be integrated to Microsoft teams enable people to dial into a Microsoft Teams Meeting ?

Regards

Can you please share how?
First, Teams doesn't have "extensions". It's users based on their email. For conference, you normally need a phone number from Teams. Even to dial from 3CX.

The integration that we have allows to dial from Teams to 3CX extensions and vice-versa. It works by "registering" the Teams user to its related extension on 3CX, and it basically act as a SIP Phone with all the bells and whistles of Teams.

Unfortunately, this wouldn't allow to dial into meetings directly since, again, those don't have any extension number. You would still use the Teams or an external phone number (some are provided by Teams directly already) to join.

This is useful for hybrid deployments where execs might use Teams phones and regular employees are on Sip Phones.
