I may have missed this, but is there a way to block certain inbound calls with the CID Blacklist on a per-deparment/DID basis with multi-tenant, or is it global? If it's only global now, will this be a feature added down the road?

You can use CID Rules and tie it to a SIP trunk, just tell it to end call.

Yes, but that requires having a dedicated trunk per department/customer. If I want to keep everything in one trunk so I can oversubscribe it appears I'm stuck with only global CID Blacklist.

youd have to have like a screening extension and use exception rules to drop calls.

has anyone found a better way of doing this?

Hi Richie, thanks for the quick response.
I havent delved into the scripting world yet - but i see there my be some need for it.
Do you think this will allow a multi tennant client to manage their own blacklist?

This would require a system owner to manage the script, but with a bit of extra work I imagine that this could call a separate database to check the DID and CID.

Otherwise your best bet is to route a DID to an extension that forward to your main destination, but set the Exceptions rule for the extension to route the call elsewhere based on the CID. A user with Manager or Owner rights would be able to go in and adjust those Exceptions when required.
