Dear 3CX Community:

We have a hosted 3CX system with remote extensions connected via the SIP proxy and the 3CX Tunnel. The Myphone desktop com tools package is loaded and shows properly in Windows Component Services. Incoming calls pop-up the Outlook contact record OK, however, when you try to trigger an outbound call via the associated deskphone (Yealink T22) by right-clicking on the contact and selecting "Call Contact with 3CX" nothing happens. The same thing happens when you try to make an outbound call from the Myphone phonebook. You right click to make the call, but the trigger never wakes up the deskphone to make the call. I can manually make and receive calls on the Yealing T22 and I am not getting an error message from Outlook or Myphone. In addition, nothing shows in the 3CX Server Activity Log. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Rob

Re: 3CX Myphone Outlook Call Trigger not working over 3CX Tu

Dear 3cx Community:

OK, we turned off the 3CX SIP Proxy and Tunnel and the call quality improved. Go figure! It sounds great! We still have issues with Microsoft Outlook not triggering a call on a Yealink phone using 3cx Myphone. Incoming screen pops work. We still can't trigger an outbound call by clicking on the "Call contact with 3CX" option within Outlook. This feature works if the PC is on the same local LAN with the Yealink phone but not remote. Is this a bug or user/config error?

Thanks,

Rob

Dear Bob,

Can you please open up your Myphone in the Preferences page and take a full screen shot of it, if you may I would like to see the IP your Myphone is set to and the dialing options of you Myphone..
