@sigmaIT as you may see from the following output of your logs, reason is uncommon source list :

[31m[02:42] Preparation: Found an uncommon source list in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/: webmin.list - 0[39m
::FAIL::

Please remove this and try again.
Before all these, apply the golden rule to take a full backup offsite.

Thank you, that solved that problem, tried again and it appears to have started the upgrade by uninstalling 3cx and then stalled at updating debian, so still on 9 and non functional, its a local machine so i decided to cut my losses (they start 8 am) and spun up a debian 10 server on digital ocean, one restore later and its up (without the phone recordings) so tomorrow will try and sort out local server, however they have an sbc at the main call center site which is showing that it needs an update and has no button to update (that i can see, just like on 3CXv16), its showing phones connected and i have no way of testing till they are on site, how do I update it?

@sigmaIT you may do this from the Management Console >> SIP Trunks >> select the SBC, and from the top bar click Update button.

Always thought select meant open the trunk, found the update button:) and all seems good, thanks
