3CX - Outbound Messages - Twilio

Hi,

So I have Twilio configured as a SMS provider.....everything works great. We actually use Twilio to send messages outside of 3CX. We have a propitiatory SaaS system that sends customers automated messages....powered via Twilio. Right now the only outbound messages shown in the thread in the 3CX soft-phones are ones directly sent from 3CX....not through Twilio's API for the SaaS system. Is there any way to configure 3CX messaging so that it will display ALL outbound messages regardless if they were sent via 3CX or not? Having the whole conversation thread inside 3CX would be really helpful in this scenario.

Unfortunately, there is no way at the moment since the messages are not going through the PBX in anyway. The PBX cannot just show messages it doesn't know about.

However, a REST API is coming (no ETAs yet) so cross your fingers that it will have a way to send SMS! This way, they would show up in your chat logs.
