Is it possible to disconnect someone's 3CX phone's extension that they are currently using on the 3CX phone app? I have an agent that is tricking the system and making calls from the app that they should not be.

will this also disable the extension from the Web application? If so, this is not something I want to do.

You can block remote tunnel connections if it isn't behind an SBC.

...or you could disable external calls, if that is the issue.

Outbound rules can also be created, specific to that extension, blocking certain numbers.

Usually, if an employee is aware that you are monitoring the numbers they call, then a warning is enough to stop the behavior..

If you're running 3CX V18 you could regenerate the provisioning file for that extension from the "Users section >> Regenerate":

Do bear in mind though that they will be able to reprovision the device by using the QR code found in the webclient. That said, I think your best bet would be to block the tunnel connection as mentioned by jcostlow from within "Extensions/Users >> Edit >> Options". This will of course affect anything else using the 3CX Tunnel for that extension such as the 3CX Windows App or IP Phones behind an SBC.
