Dear all,
please note that am having issue to pick up from 3cx. Note that all user are granted the right to perform pick up, also the limitation of pick up for their extension group. I'm trying to perform a pick up with my internal user but in vain. Can you please advice or maybe i'm doing something wrong.

In the image below it is when i tried to call the *20* only to see if it reaches the PBX and it does.Capture.PNG

Hi @gregory.b,

Do all of the extensions involved have the following options enabled?

Hi @gregory.b,

Do you have any other dial codes that start with *2 that could be matched? Also check if you have any rules that may be matching.

In your image you posted above, where are you calling to and who are you trying to pickup the call as?

For example:

I called externally and routed it through to a queue, then used *20* to pick up the call with Agent 1 A. Can you give me a break down of how you're attempting to do this?

Okay so what i am trying is to perform pick up within the internal extension of the 3CX among my users. Am making extension (100) call extension (101), and trying with another extension (307) to perform the pick up. Note that they are not in a ring group. Am testing extension to extension. Or am i doing it wrong.

Cause when i did the *20* only to pickup it said : " extension not found"
i tried again with *20*ext but it did nothing .

Please help if not i have another query that i would like to confirm if possible.

Hi @gregory.b,

I'm almost 100% sure that your dial code for hotdesking is being called. Can you double check that it is not using the same *2 code?

That is to say I can reproduce exactly what you get by changing my Hotdesking dial code to *2.
