Solved 3CX Report Delivery Failure

Has anyone experienced report delivery failures despite the report itself running successfully on the 3CX server?

We are experiencing an issue where reports are running successfully (see below) but not being sent from 3CX. Our IT department has confirmed that the email for the report circled below never hit our email servers:




Anyone out there who has experienced this? Thanks in advance!

We're using Microsoft 365.

Sorry, just to be clear, I wasn't asking what mail server you are using for your own email, but rather what mail server (in 3CX) are you using?

And I see several reports in there. Is is just the one circled report that no email was received for or has this never worked?

I think the answer's the same either way. Here is our email configuration in 3CX:



The problem does not appear to be related to any single report specifically. We've got several incidents of missing report emails and the specific report is never the same.

I think the problem could be due to having many reports running (and sending) simultaneously. I'm trying to space out the reports to see if this makes a difference.

Ahh ok. The reason I ask is that 3CX SMTP uses SendGrid which had some brief blips a few weeks ago. Also, if you send email to an address and it bounces then SendGrid automatically blacklisted that address for a week. Neither of those should affect you.

Spacing the reports apart and making sure they aren't running at the same time as a backup are good first steps.

To check if it could be something related to the O365 SMTP, could you switch to using the 3CX SMTP for 1-2 days, just to see if you are experiencing the same Delivery Failures?

Hi cobaltit and NickD, I spaced out the reports and confirmed this has resolved our issue. All scheduled reports are being delivered as expected. Thank you for your thoughts.
