On Friday I installed the SBC onto a Pi. I put the Pi onto a dedicated vLAN and added two phones (phones also on the same vLAN).

It all works fine, but I came in this morning and got alerts that the Pi is using massive amounts of bandwidth. It's sent and received hundreds of gigs of data. I don't see what it's sending or receiving (it isn't phone call data, we don't even have a trunk attached, just two phones I was playing with on Friday).

There's nothing else on the vLAN, and it's segregated from the rest of the network, so it isn't like it's harvesting data.

Why is it sending such huge amounts of data, and what is it sending? Surely this isn't normal?

Hi @xvzy,

What Pi are you running?

Did you follow our guide? https://www.3cx.com/docs/installing-pbx-raspberry-pi/, if not I suggest flashing starting with that.

For an SBC with just two phones, you're completely right - not normal.

Are you able to identify where the data is going to?
