Solved 3cx server receives STUN requests

Hello,

Today I noticed that our 3cx server receives some STUN requests from public IP addresses and responds to them.
My question is:
How normal is this?
Could this be a security issue?
I would only expect 3cx to initiate STUN requests, rather than receiving.

Please let me know if you need any further information in order to provide a response, since I understand that my question is quite generic.

Please note that the PBX can act as a STUN server for phones that are provisioned via STUN so seeing STUN requests towards the PBX and the PBX answering them is quite normal.

It has been confirmed that those STUN requests originate from remotely registered SIP clients / IP Phones.
This can be closed.
