Hello,
On an customer installation on premise that has been update to version 18 at beginning of this year,
since 2 weeks we are facing a problem on nightly system restart where 2 services are not starting.
We get a warning by email:
The following service(s) were interrupted:
3CXGatewayService
3CXPhoneSystemMC01
This is a Windows Server 2019 machine on the cloud.

Now exacty the same problem has started since yesterday on another customer server where we have a nightly reboot !!
This one is a fisical machine with 16GB ram, Windows Server 2016, also with 3CX version 18.
This was running for months with no problem.
So the suspect is that a windows updated could have create vthis issue.

Has anybody having the same problem ??

Thanks
Enrico

Hi,
we could not try immediately so we wait the night, but it did not work.
We are trying again this night and we will revert tomorrow.

Hi,
Both services has ìbeen set as Automatic (delayed start)
again this night on reboot the two services did not start !
Also entering the server and manually starting the Management Console we got two times the error attached (Impossible to complete the task).
At the third time the service has started.
Thius is really a big problem.
Any suggestion ??

Thanks
Enrico

Another user solved a very similar issue as explained here:
https://www.3cx.com/community/threa...e-dont-start-automatically.113149/post-523210

Before increasing the timeout of the Services to 60 seconds, I wold suggest taking a Full 3CX Backup and downloading off the machine.
Also if it is a VM, take a snapshot of it just in case.

The try increasing the timeout and see if this resolves the issue. Keep the "Delayed Start" in place.

Seems that this is the right solution !
After increasing the timeout to 60 seconds and leaving the two services in Delayed Start mode the issue not happened anymore.

Thanks for that !

Enrico

Glad to hear that solved the issue for you Enrico!

I'll mark this thread as 'Solved'.
