Hi there,

Apologies if this has already been asked, but I can't seem to see anything.

I've got my 3cx system configured, using my Freeswitch as a SIP trunk and everything is working perfectly however I have a question regarding the simultaneous calls.

Does 3cx to 3cx count as a simultanious call? So for example I currently have 16 simultaneous calls available on the test licence, if 10 users are talking 3xc to 3cx does this mean I only have 6 simultaneous calls to make? Or does this only apply to external calls out?

Thanks

Every internal call is essentially a simultaneous call (from the perspective of license limits). However, keep in mind that an extension-to-extension call is one call. A call to voicemail is one call. A call to/from a customer is one call. An inbound call that is forwarded out to an external number is 2 calls. So, yes, internal calls are at least one call. If you are calling across a bridge from an extension on one 3CX server to an extension on another 3CX server is one call ON EACH 3CX SERVER. Obviously a conference call is going to be several simultaneous calls.
