Hi.. I've been searching, but I have not found a definite answer.

Are Deskphones supported in the Small Business Edition?
Is there a limit on how many deskphones? (I know the limit is 10 user, but wasn't sure of the deskphones)
Am I able to assign my own extension numbers (or our they determined by the host)

Thank you for any help. - Bill

Thank you Nikolas.. the last question is (you didn't respond to) - being that would be hosted, can I choose the extension numbers or are they unchangeable? The trial version shows a 5 digit extension such as 10440 (bogus number), but I cannot change it to: 10001 or the likes. Thank you.

Sorry.. there is one final question.. with this new install I am needing to configure a router phone which I haven't had to do before. The process seemed pretty straightforward (with guides), but after the desk phone provisioning happened it seems that my SIP registration is failing. I am wondering if firewall ports need to be opened for the Router Phone? I was under the assumption (not sure why) that they did not. Thanks for any clarification. - Bill

The extension numbers can’t be changed because it’s a shared system.

No there’s no ports to open for a router phone. It’s only an outbound connection. Ensure it has the latest firmware: https://www.3cx.com/docs/phone-firmwares/. What model phone is it?

Thanks Steve.. It's a Fanvil V65. I'll check the firmware. Also, the system is Small business 10 user (StartUP).

Not familiar with Fanvil desk phones but for others I know you can blacklist yourself using old firmware. With SMB the options for that are to wait 24h since the last attempt or open a ticket with 3CX.

Let us know if that was your firmware that was outdated and caused the IP to be blacklisted.
