3CX SMTP - Does it use SSL/TLS

Hi,
We have a customer who is working through an audit of their networks and network security.

One of the questions they have for us is regarding the security of the emails sent by the 3CX SMTP server.
We have configured the 3CX to use the 3CX SMTP server.

Does this use SSL\TLS?
Are the messages stored on the mail server?

Hi,

if the customer has high obligations to fulfil, use your own SMTP server to be 100% in control.

Our SMTP server uses TLS transport. The content of the emails is not saved, however, to prevent abuse and ensure high delivery rates the from, to and subject is stored for 30 days including a delivers report of the mail.
