3CX Softphone - Speaker button Greyed Out

I have the 3CX softphone configured on a few installations. These installations use a Plantronics 638 wired headset.

The audio options are set as desired. However when in a call, you cannot click the speaker button to go to loud speaker mode, it is greyed out.

Audio Options are configured as:
Microphone - Headset
Speaker - Headset
Ringing = PC Speakers

Is it possible to go from using the headset, to loud speaker mode somehow?

Which speaker button are you referring to? I don't think the v12 3CXPhone has a speaker button of any kind.

Every version of 3CX Phone v12 I have installed has the greyed out speaker button whilst on a call. On every system I have installed.

In CTI mode I have the word Speaker there and greyed out. Perhaps a CTI limitation?
(In Windows Phone mode I have the word Video there.)

I have this greyed out in 3CXPhone mode, not CTI mode. I would like to know how to use speaker mode. 3CXPhone is setup to ring through the PC speakers. This is a very important feature. I have users that want to use speaker phone. This is extremely limiting not being able to use it. I have checked every setting I can see and cannot see how to enable the speaker option. Can 3CX respond to this? Customers pay for a license, it would be nice to know how to use speaker phone.

Completely same problem here, using 3cxPhone 14.0.45826.0
We DO NEED such a possibility, users complaining heavily.

Hi, Yes speaker mode is disabled for a reason. This is a CTI limitation.
