3CX Softphone, WebClient or Desktop App

Hello everyone,

I want to understanding how others are deploying these to clients machine.

Most of our clients are using 3CX Softphone and some the WebClient. However, with the introduction of the Desktop App, I am trying to determine which might be the best app to deploy to users machine. I know with the Softphone, it requires the users to install software and there could be the issue with admin rights to the machine. I am looking for easy to little requirement in deploying to users. Especially, how so many users are working remotely.

Additionally, what is 3CX plan for the Softphone? is it being phased out for the WebClient and Desktop App? Have not been able to find any information on this.

I find it strange that you need the WebClient to install the Desktop app (unless I am missing something). This process will add issues for users if they have to do it themselves.

Any feedback would be great.

The one that has less configuration requirements is with no-doubt the 3CX Webclient.

The 3CX Windows App also known as the 3CX Phone for Windows is indeed slowly being phased out.
