Hi all,

i got a system hosted for a client,
I get the following when trying to connect to the management console: ET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID
I can login by bypassing error,
I have restarted the PBX
I have refreshed license information
Hosted on Debian
FQDN with 3cx
I have also ./PbxConfigTool -renew-certificaes

Any assistance will be great,
Thanks

What version of 3CX, i.e.

Can you check the date on the certificate via the browser and confirm it indeed expired? Also, you are using the FQDN to connect and the https port?

Thanks for the reply,

make absolutely sure that:

• The PBX host can resolve and reach activate.3cx.com
• There are no outbound network restrictions that may be contributing to the issue
• The The PBX is reachable on its HTTPS port

Can you confirm everything is ok with network traffic, do you know if there exist any restrictions?

Also, can you go to "Settings >> License", click on Edit >> OK and then "Refresh License Key Information", do you get any errors when you do that?

Everything is working fine network wise as far as i can tell, we have a few PBX's running in parallel this is the only one giving problems.

I have also refreshed license as stated in my first post, no problems there.

Problem seems to have solved itself overnight, any ideas?
Been like this for a few weeks...

Can't say for sure since we never really investigated while it was failing but the fact that it retried and successfully renewed it by itself usually means there might've been some sort of connectivity issue before.

In any case, I'm glad to see this has now been sorted! I'll mark this as solved but do let us know should anything similar happen again, hopefully there won't be a next time but if there is we might at least be given the chance to take a closer look and identify the cause.
