never mind if master or slave static ip is the basement

Do you have public IP available at gateway location, you can do NAT port forwarding and then connect to the gateway over internet.

Alternatively if you firewall allow you can setup site to site VPN between site hosting gateway and AWS VPC. Then you 3CX will be able to connect to gateway device as if it was on the same local network.

Let me know if you need information on how to setup VPN in AWS and if you share you firewall model on the gateway site I may be able to assist you with the VPN settings for the firewall as well.

Hey mate,

I am not sure if you can use this particular router to establish site to site VPN, never work with Huawei, mostly Cisco & CheckPoint person. You can give it a try

The alternative port forwarding is possible with almost any router including yours, assign static private IP to the gateway device or reserve its IP in Huawei, go under NAT port forwarding and forward the require SIP ports to the IP of the gateway.

Let me know if port forwarding work for you. I will search to see if AWS VPN can be setup on this particular device and if I find anything use full I will forward that to you.
