Hi folks

I have just noticed that the 3CX STUN servers are not responding so my dynamic IP does not update.

My configuration is for stun-eu.3cx.com, stun2.3cx.com, stun3.3cx.com Port 3478, none of which reply to ping or a telnet connection.

Have these servers changed or is there an outage?

I am running Standard Annual 16.0.9 on a Raspbian 10.

Thanks!

Our stun servers do not actually respond to ping requests so the fact that you are not receiving anything is expected. Also you should not be able to telnet to port 3478 as it is a UDP port. If you want to check whether you can reach the 3CX stun servers configured on your 3CX PBX I would recommend simply running a firewall test and making sure it passes. You can do this in "Dashboard >> Firewall". (Do bear in mind that the test will force 3CX services to stop so do consider running this outside of office hours)

Let us know if the firewall checker passes successfully and also provide the relevant information mentioned here: https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/information-to-provide-when-requesting-help.67558/

Thanks for the reply!

Unfortunately the firewall test fails with "Value cannot be null. (Parameter 'address')".

Not sure what it is referring to but it seems that it isn't even able to start.

I am running Standard Annual 16.0.9 on a Raspbian 10

edit: you know what, never mind. Since currently nobody was online on the system I did a full reboot and now it works. Weird but nice!
