3CX system hosted in Google Cloud - Root password

I have a 3CX server hosted on the Google cloud that was created by 3CX automatically using their template.

The 3CX server does not have a process to delete call recording efficiently other than by age which does not work in all circumstances. It would be nice to have a way to select all recordings at once and delete from the web interface or another process other than having to select each message individually per page to delete.

So I am trying to determine what my root password for the server.

I am trying to more efficiently delete call recordings on the server by accessing the server by way of SSH and removing the 2.5GB of recordings with a script. I am able to SSH into the server instance but I am unable to determine the root password on the server that was setup when the server instance was created by 3CX.

I am unable to delete the call recording files from command line without the root password due to permissions on the files.

Can anyone give me some guidance on how to determine the root password on a 3CX instance hosted at Google and created by 3CX's automated process?

Hello @stono

Please note that you can select multiple recordings through the management console and delete them at the same time. If you access the machine using SSH you will need to elevate the user with sudo su
