3CX Upgrade to Hosted Question

The 3CX pricing table shows that the upgrade to hosted for a 16 SC 3CX Enterprise is $400, but when I select the Hosted option in the Partner portal, the charge is $817 (from $735 to $1,552). What gives? Why is that?

Hosting is an addon billed annually on top of your existing 3CX license. If you're using 8SC right now, then it would make sense that the upgrade costs that. It's prorated.

Thank you for the response, but I'm not sure I follow. The pricing table shows that the renewal for a 16 SC Enterprise plan is $735, which is exactly what I see when I go to the renewal page. The table also shows that the hosted version is an additional $400, but when I click on the hosted plan, I'm not quote $1,135 ($735+$400), but $1,552 ($735+$817).

How much time is left on your license? It should prorate if you’re upgrading.

That makes sense then. You are buying a year from March of 2025 to 2026 for 3CX - that's the 735. Now add a year of hosting that covers march 2025 to march 2026 ($400). But there's time from now (March 2024 to March 2025) that is an additional $400 (ish, it's not March 25th today).
