I have just come across a problem that was confusing me for a while, so I thought I would share it for the benefit of others.

When I tried to upload a wav file to my 3CX v15.5.15502.6 system, the upload failed with the following message:
Incorrect audio format. Convert this file and try again. For more info go here : https://www.3cx.com/docs/converting-wav-file/

I checked the format carefully and made sure that it was 8KHz mono 16-bit PCM wav.

When originally uploading, the filename contained underscores. Removing the underscores from the filename and re-uploading seemed to resolve the problem.

I post in case any one else who thinks they have the correct format wonders why the file might not be uploading.

I just renamed my current MOH file as "this_is_a_test.wav" and was able tp upload it fine.
I tested on release 16 though.

Hmmm - Interesting - Not sure if relevant, but I should also add that I am running 3CX on Debian.

Hello @Charles Murray

Just tried it on a v15.5.15502.6 linux system and i was able to upload a file with an underscore. Do you have the same issue with all files?
