3CX v16 & Google Contacts

I am following the instructions on how to Integrate 3CX with Google Contacts.

Unfortunately under Settings > CRM integrations. i cannot see Google Contacts on theirs. I then notice that it says 3CX V15 Pro as the minimum requirements.

I think I'm running v16.0.0.1581

Am I right in presuming that it's not available on the version I'm running?

That documentation belongs to the old client side integration, which has been deprecated. Unfortunately there is no replacement at the moment in v16. We will provide a new integration in a following update of 3CX, but there is no ETA for this.

Well that kind of stinks. I have client's that used the journaling for phone calls (not often but...) mostly for contacts and we were wondering why this did not work anymore please bring it back. Hard to tell people that they can not have a feature anymore because of an upgrade.

Hello @curtcar21,

Every update requires verification on various connected parts to our system. In order to have better control and provide new features to our system that give value to our customers, we do our prioritization.

In some cases, we might get complains by the community/customers, but this is perfectly clear in a system that evolves and moves forward.
