3CX v16 Update 8 BETA - Firebase Cloud Removal?

Evening,

I see that there has been a note regarding removing custom Firebase configurations in the new Beta. I can only assume this is coming to a later GA release.

Whats the purpose behind this? We use a custom Firebase project due to issues we had with Push Notification delays to Android phones - and it improved the situation.

What gives?
