3CX V18 integration with roommaster

we have tried enable hotel module to integrate with roommaster (Innquest PMS system). roommaster is configured to listening on port 8001, IP and port 8001 been added on the hotel servvices on 3CX management portal.
the issue is none of the hotel features works.
I am told by roommaster tech suport, that I should be able to telnet to 3cx on port 8001. on checking the 3cx terminal with netstat, it is listening on 8001,
3cx is installed on esxi (direct downloaded from 3cx as debian), when open the console to the debian, netstat shows listening on 8001 but ss -lntu does not show 8001 as an open port.
tried to opne port on debian console but ufw is not a recognished command.

what have I missed?

sorry, ss -lntu does show 8001 as opened. i just missed it.

any chance you could point me to the right direction? at this stage CDR is not important, I just need the guest name to appear on the phone when they call reception...

tcpdump on the 3CX console (192.168.1.32) can see packets from roommaster (192.168.1.5), not sure why the length is 0 through:
