System:
v18
LIghtsail hosted

I have 8 systems that have been running for awhile and as of today at 1145am pacific all phones and sbc's went down. App and webclient still work. These are different systems all over california. Anyone else run into this issue?

3cx tech support said it sounds like a hosting issue.

Thank you in advance

Logically, it can only be a link in the networking chain that is shared by all sites, so I can see why support initially think it's a hosting issue.

The first questions in my mind would be:

Is my host having any current issues?

Do the sites share any common corporate infrastructure (routing / gateway / firewall/ DHCP / ISP)? Has anything changed within that network recently?

Am I able to access the webclient from a LAN being used by an SBC?

Do I have the SBCs whitelisted in 3CX? Has their LAN or WAN IP addresses changed at all?

My troubleshooting actions would include:

PBX firewall check

Check log on SBC, if necessary turn on verbose logging for a bit (remember to turn it off after!).

Work my way through each link in the network chain - can phone see SBC, can SBC see PBX. Then do it in reverse - can PBX see SBC (ping), can SBC see phones.

I appreciate the response.

I have verified the firewall check while running through the logs of the verbose settings all phones on all 8 systems came back up.
Only they were not all part of the same region of the USA. Seems to be a hosting issue.

Glad you're sorted - it had to be common link in the chain.
