Good morning everyone,

I' m running into an issue where I have wrong names for extensions only in the 3CX mobile app (android).

The 3CX app is matching the last digits of the mobile number of an unrelated extension

Some examples with names altered and mobile numbers deleted for privacy reasons

Example 1:

Correct 3CX extension 1131: John Doe
Shown as 1131 MagPand 2 in 3CX APP
Magpand 2 actual extension is 1191 but has a mobile number ending in 31

Example 2:

Correct 3CX extension 1136: Tech Op
Shown as: 1136 Jane Doe in 3CX APP
Jane Doe actual extension is 1180 with a mobile number ending in 36

Example 3:

Correct 3CX extension: 1172 Logistics
Shown as: 1172 Jimmy Doe in 3CX APP
Jimmy Doe actual extension is 1275 with a mobile number ending in 72

Does anyone have any experience with this?

What happens if you close off the app and open it back up?

Are the 3cx mobile devices external to 3cx or internal on the same network as the 3cx server - any vlans.

If internal, are you blocking http port to the 3cx server, external requires https access to the 3cx server.

Does the t53 have the correct info, if you check the address book on the phone

Hi,

The APP is used internally via a SSID that's used for mobile devices.
HTTP access is not blocked.
I can confirm that the hardphones have the correct info.

Does the 3CX Activity Log show the correct name being sent, on a call to the Mobile App? I'm going to go out on a limb and assume it is, as you say that the hardphones receive the correct name. If that is the case, then perhaps a match is being made, with the directory of the mobile itself.
