3CX V20 Azure install - Restore backup V

Hi,

We are looking to move our current V20 install to Azure instead of running in a allocated datacenter.
We deployed 3CX V20 from the marktedplace of Azure and setup swap, ready to deploy a backup of our current machine:

But once we wanted to upload and restore our back we got the message that our back is from a newer 3CX setup then the deployed machine from Azure:

Our 3CX current machine is Version 20.0 Update 4 (Build 487 Release).
The image of the Azure Marketplace seems to be Version 20 update 3 (Build 487 Release).



How can we fix this, is it possible to perform a ugrade from cli true ssh on the new machine running on Azure?
Or do we need to deploy the install again from scratch with a other image of install from ISO?

Anyone who has run into this issue before?

you will need to install it as a new installation, perform the upgrade then restore your backup.

So the lastest build of 3CX isn't available on the Azure Market store then?

clearly not.

Carry on as you are with the install, but do it as a new one without the restore. perform the updates, upload your backup and then restore within it. Obviously when you do this, the FQDN will update to the new WAN IP.

@Alphabetic So I can pick any FQDN install, upgrade and restore my backup with my original FQDN then?
I made a back with the WAN set to dynamic but after the restore I'll set it back to our static IP of the new Azure install.

Im not sure if you can restore a backup to include a new FQDN and such, i've never tried tbh.

If you're doing it all in one go then just use your FQDN, put it any old crap to get you in enough to perform an upgrade to the latest version then do the upload/restore.

The key that you would do the installation would need to be the same one with the same FQDN. You cant restore the backup of another FQDN/key

I do understand that, I'm will install a new clean image from ISO on Azure, browse to the public WANIP:5015 and just restore my backup with my current FQDN and Enterprise License.

@Kristoffel_Loos I'd strongly recommend you do try Azure again as I just tried myself using the link you provided and verified that the version is indeed the latest 20.0.4.487, which has been public since early December.
