3CX v20 Update 3 build 806 release breaks SMB path

Hello,

Does anyone encounter issues with connecting to storage path using SMB after the latest v20.0 update 3 build 806? Our 3CX automatic upgrade kicked in last week. Everything else works fine except my backup and call recording archiving which worked flawlessly before the update.

Did something changed in the SMB behaviour in this update released?

Any suggestion or fixes?

There no alerts on my dashboard. Might be you need to click on the "Save" button after updating the folder path and credentials.

It seems auto-archiving of the recordings are not available anymore. I have to go to the Storage and manually click on the "Move to Archive" button.

You are wrong. If Recordings is checked under Storage > Data Archiving, it happens once a day (no predefined time but) and will archive all recordings older than Days specified.

The recordings are unchecked on my system. I am using SMB storage for backup purposes only. Still getting the same alerts. I'll wait until 3CX releases a new patch and see if that fixes it.

So check Recordings and Save the page, the warning will go away.
If you don't want recordings auto archive, then uncheck them and save again.
