3CX version 18.0 (Build 908) breaks Fanvil X6 access

We did this upgrade a few weeks ago and followed the instruction about changing the ID and Password. Now much later I have need to add a new phone X6 HWV 1.3 SWV 1.4.4.1. Every attempt to get it to register has failed. It does not matter what ID and Password I use I cannot get it to register. I decided to access one of many other Fanvil X6 phones on our system to confirm that I have all the right settings. However, I cannot now get into ANY of our Fanvil X6 phones. Not a single one matches the ID/Pwd in 3CX. Unfortunately the person that set these up is no longer with the company and documentation was not his strong suit. I am stuck, I cannot access nor reset my existing Fanvil X6 phones because I cannot get a new Fanvil X6 configured.

UPDATE - The phone finally registered, now I just need to duplicate this on another phone AND getting to the phone via the phones web portal still seems to be an issue.

I finally figured out the the Phone Web Page Password with the user name "Admin" gets me in....

Anyone with any suggestions?

Hi,

I'm glad to hear you found the correct password and got into your phone.

As a side note, in case you are locked out you can always factory reset the device and then reprovision it under the same extension. To reset it, you can follow this guide linked here or you can try the quick method of holding down the OK button until you see the Factory Reset prompt and then press OK again to confirm.

When you reset a phone it will appear in the "Phones" page in bold and as a "New" device. You can then select it and click Assign Ext. and assign it to the extension you wish, which will take you to the extension page. When you reach that page simply press the big blue OK button on top and the phone will receive provisioning instructions from 3CX.
