How to factory reset a Fanvil IP Phone

Follow the steps below to factory reset your Fanvil device in order to bring back the factory default settings. This must be done before provisioning your Fanvil phone in case the device has residual settings of a previous configuration.
Factory Reset your Fanvil X-Series or V-Series Phone
- Turn off the device.
- Hold the “#” button and turn the device on.
Exception for X5S: press “#”, right after the Red Light blinks on the Page-Switch (PS) key.
Exception for X6: press “#”, right after the 2nd Red Light blinks on the Power Indicator LED.
Exception for U / Pro / Lite / V or newer: wait for the MWI to turn on, then off. As soon as it turns on again, press “#” immediately.
Exception for V62: press “Menu > System > Factory reset” go to “All” set to “Enable” and press OK.
- The message “Post Mode” will appear on the screen.
- As soon as the message “Post Mode” appears dial “*”, “#”, “1”, “6”, “8”.
- Wait 5 seconds until “Conf Rest” is shown.
- Your phone will be successfully reset after restarting the device.
Factory Reset your Fanvil X7A or i56A Phone
- Power off the device
- Power on the device
- As soon as you see the MWI indicator start flashing, begin to repeatedly tap the four corners of the screen until the MWI indicator stops flashing.
- Within a few moments a message should appear informing you it is “Erasing...”
- The device will reboot automatically as soon as the reset is complete.
Factory Reset Your Fanvil i-Series Phone
Factory reset i18S / i20S / i23S / i30 / i31S
- Power Off the device.
- While holding down the “*” and “#” keys, power on the device.
- Hold the “*” and “#” keys until the SIP/Network and Function Key LEDs stay on.
- Release the “*” and “#” keys.
- Dial “*”, “#”, “1”, “6”, “8”.
- Wait 10-15 seconds.
- Power Off the device.
- Power On the device and it will be reset to its Factory Default settings.
Factory reset i10S / i10SD / i16S / i10SV / i16SV
- Power Off the device.
- Power On the device, wait for the LED to start flashing fast.
- Press the “Call” key once while the LED is flashing fast, it should now start to flash slowly.
- Press the “Call” key 3 times.
- The device will reboot into Factory Default settings.
Factory reset i61 / i62 / i63 / i64
- Power Off the device.
- Power it On, wait for the blue colour LED to start flashing.
- Press the “Call” key once. The LED should now turn yellow.
- Press the “Call” key 3 times.
- The device will reboot into Factory Default settings.
Factory reset iW30 / PA2 / PA3
- Power On the device.
- Press the “Reset” button on the device for 5 seconds, then release.
- The device will reboot into Factory Default settings.
Factory Reset Your Fanvil H-Series Phone
Factory reset H2S
- Power Off the device.
- While holding down the “#” key, power on the device.
- Hold the “#” key until the keypad LEDs stay OFF.
- Release the “#” key.
- Dial “*”, “#”, “1”, “6”, “8”.
- Wait until the keypad LEDs flash slowly.
- Power Off the device.
- Power On the device and it will be reset to its Factory Default settings.
Factory reset H2U / H2U-V2
- Power Off the device.
- Power On the device.
- H2U: When the red LED flashes press “#”. The LED should now flash red slowly.
H2U-V2: When the yellow LED flashes press “#”. The LED should now flash red slowly. - Dial “*”, “#”, “1”, “6”, “8”.
- The device will reboot into Factory Default settings.
Factory reset H3 / H3W / H5 / H5W
- Power Off the device.
- Power On the device.
- When the Speaker LED is flashing, press “#”.
- When the Speaker LED stays off, dial “*”, “#”, “1”, “6”, “8”.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Power Off the device.
- Power On the device and it will be reset to its Factory Default settings.
Factory Reset Your Fanvil C-Series Phone
Factory reset C400 / C600
- On your “Home” screen tap on the “Setting” gear icon.
- Scroll down the side menu and select the “Maintain” option.
- From the tabs on top, find and select the “Phone Reset” option, and enter your Reset Password (default: 123456). Tap “Enter.”
- Choose “Clear all” and tap “Reset.”
- Confirm the “Factory data reset” by tapping “OK.”
- After the restart, your Fanvil phone will be successfully reset.
