3Cx version 20 change number plan

Hi Team

We have current system with 3 number plan and want to migrate it to 4 digit plan for all extensions. 3cx is currently on v20. I have seen some posts around export and import but nothing is clear.

basically what will be the easiest process e.g. Spin up and new VM, items which we can export and import directly or by making few changes so that we minimize the manual configuration and thus errors.

Any guidance is well appreciated.

You need to reinstall your pbx. You can export your extensions, adjust the file and reimport. Contacts also. Everything else you need to start from scratch.
