Hiya.

I've been requested by my client to configure 3cx web as a sip softphone extension on panasonic NS1000.

May i know is this possible ? I took a peek at the SIP configuration and notice that there're a bunch of outbound and inbound traffic configuration options over there. The panasonic NS1000 is LAN accessible to the pc that has the 3CX web. Although it's not internet accessible.

Any guy can help a lost soul here ?

Thanks.

I suspect (but have not found written confirmation) that the 3CX Web Client is 3CX PBX specific, and may not work with other SIP based servers. The same thing happened to the 3CX Android App several versions ago. It went from a generic SIP application, to working with 3CX only, to 3CX version specific. While this isn't good news for those wanting to use it with other systems, it allows new features to be added that are proprietary.

I see. I'm forced to try out my luck tomorrow since my client has already demanded me to work it out as soon as possible. I've checked through many sites and seems that 3CX web is very much proprietary to it's own SIP . I'll give an update if it worked out.

I really don't see how integrating the 3CX web client with another PBX is technically possible but please let us know how it works out.
