Hi,

Many of my users using the 3CX Web Client are having issues. Their feedback is that sometimes when the Web Client is launched, the display is blank. Nothing shows up.
Please refer to the attached image.

Can anyone advise how this can be resolved ?

Thanks.

Regards,
Kwang Mien

Please confirm Web Browser and version incl 3CX add on version.

Confirm what antivirus you're running too.

Are you able to replicate the problem?

Hi Kwang,

This looks like the client is not able to connect, or gets stuck waiting for something.

It can be due to an antivirus (which have been known to stop scripts and preventing them from loading), or it could be some other factor that again prevents communication between the PBX and the client (usually on port 5001).

The browser used is Chrome Version 84.0.4147.135.
The anti-virus is Sophos endpoint agent.

This issue happened intermittently. after the user logout from the 3CX portal, and login again, the 3cx dialer appeared.

Unknown, we do not have enough information why this happens on those machines.

The browser version is ok, so you can try and remove the antivirus and any chrome plugins it may install to see if it stops happening (on 1 pc). You can leave Windows Security (built in antivirus) so you will have some protection.

Let us know of your results after the antivirus has been removed.
