Hi,
We have a team of six sales agents each using the 3CX WebClient. Our server version is V18, soon upgrading to V20, cloud hosted.
The WebClient is integrated with our CRM using the CRM Integration option to open a contact in a custom CRM which calls an endpoint in our CRM. The CRM searches for a contact record using the given phone number. This all works correctly and has been for many years.
Our sales agents are all members of a ring group to handle inbound calls. The ring group is a RingAll type, so on an inbound call, the clients for all available sales agents ring at the same time. Basic functiona;oty, and this works well.
The odd and occasional problem is that even though the web client ringing happens correctly, the call to the CRM integration is sometimes delayed by as much as a minute or two. When this does happen, it typically only affects one user, but not always the same user.
The Apache access logs on our CRM prove that the call to the integration endpoint is indeed delayed for the affected user. (The contact lookup action performed by the CRM always happens very quickly once the endpoint is called.)
What might be causing this issue?
Many thanks,
John Millis
