My last threat got closed and I'm still trying to get more informations about the push-message and ringing problems ons webclient with Chrome and since a while also in Edge (Chromium) Browser.
This is my old threat: https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/3cx-webclient-on-chrome-not-ringing.80606/
This is a case at chromium.org that I opened before a couple of days: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1223421#c19

Is there any interest from your side to fix the issue or have you finished with this and focus on the new windows app?

If you haven't finished, maybe you (as 3CX) and other 3CX customers should go this way and try to go on chromiums nerves to get this shit issue fixed.

Provided that you are referring to the issue relating to the Chrome Extension also mentioned here, do bear in mind that, as Mr Galea said, the new Windows App, which will be available in v18, should sort out these kinds of issues that are out of our control as it is not web browser dependent. As of yet, the 3CX Webclient is still very much alive and if there is something we can do about similar issues we surely will.

It's not about any problems with Chrome Extension. Chrome Extension isn't working well, we don't use this one. It's only about the webclient itself.
Is there any date for the first v18 final version?

Gotcha!

There's no official date yet but it shouldn't take too long since the BETA is almost out and it's generally had a smooth run until now. This of course provided that all goes well and no unpleasant surprises pop-up as is not uncommon in software development. Do keep an eye on our Product Releases section for any updates.

Of course I keep an eye on this nearly every day! But I was still hoping that there will be any way to fix the webclient issue.
Maybe Google is a too big company and you should try to have a well working webclient with firefox. Maybe they're more interested in something like a partnership ;)

Well I guess we'll have to wait and see;)
