3CX Windows App v18 - Chat message lost if switched to another chat

If I start writing a message in Chat A and have to switch to Chat B, then the message in Chat A will be deleted.

Imagine: You start to write something. Then there is a incoming call and you have to ask someone via chat. After the call the started message was deleted and you have to start the message again.

You're quite right, however as this doesn't happen in v16 either, I'd say it's a feature request.

I'd suggest contacting a 3CX Partner to have them escalate this to the Ideas Forum on your behalf.

In V16 this wasn't a problem, because you had 1 window per chat conversation. That made it impossible for something like this to happen. For me it is a buggy function and not a feature request.

Hi @HExSM,

Maybe I misunderstood you, the 3CX Desktop App and Windows App aren't synonymous. There is no reason you cannot continue using the Windows App, using v16 or v18, it hasn't been deprecated in any way. Since the Desktop App (v18) is similarly built to the Web Client, and the chats weren't saved if you switched before sending in the Web Client, it would be considered a feature request.
