3CX Windows Client IM Useless after upgrade to Windows 10

Hi,

We have everyone in the office running teh 3CX Windows App v. 16.0.1.81. Just two weeks ago upgraded the entire office to Windows 10, from 7. After the upgrade all 3CX instant messaging became basically useless. There is no notification sound or alert of any kind when someone recieves an IM anymore. Further even if you have the app open you can't see that someone sent you a message unless you go through and click on every single person's name and check to see if anything new happened to come in.

Nobody is willing to use it anymore due to this, is this an oddity or a known issue? I've checked for updates but nothing else is available.

it is oddly but overall I would suggest switching to the WebAPP for Messaging and Switchboard use regardless. You may use the WebAPP also as phone...

When i recieve a chat message on win 10 3cx Client the IM icon turns blue i recieve a notification and "NEW" is dispayed next to the user that sent the message. Did you upgrade to windows 10 or did you format and do a clean install ? Can i suggest removing and reinstalling the windows client on one of the workstations.

We bought all new PCs with Windows 10 installed already and did a fresh install of 3CX Client.

Hi Steve have you made sure that the chat settings are setcorrectly?
