Running 3CX Pro 16.0.493 on Windows Server.

Off VPN, 3CX for Windows all seems to function normally over the interwebs. After connecting to VPN (Anyconnect), 3CX for Windows appears to be connected (see presence / switchboard /etc.) However the connection appears to be "one legged" as if I try to use "conference" creation button it does nothing. I can click on it continuously and nothing happens. If I close 3CX for Windows and launch again while on VPN all works normal again.

There seems to be issues when transition from external to internal IPs (connected to VPN) of PBX with 3CX for Windows while the app is running.

I've tried changing CTI/softphone / tunnel disabled / etc but no improvement.

Anyone run into this?

thanks in advance

Hi,

Have you tried to relaunch the app after the VPN is already connected?

Thanks for response. Yes that is the workaround but does not scale for users in hundreds.

FYI - the latest 3CX for Windows fixed the issue in all testing thus far. Going to have to roll BETA out to all..

3CX App for Windows, Build BETA, 16.3.0.171, July 2020
Fixed issue of becoming inoperant randomly when used on a VPN connection.

How does one download the beta client? I need to test with a few users that are having similar issues as to what you have described in this thread.

Thanks so much!

You do not, as the client is included within the Alpha / Beta versions of 3CX. You can not just download just the client.

Any alpha / beta versions are only for evaluation purposes and is not recommended for production systems. This version is not covered by any support SLA.
