My Windows client is not showing since updating Windows to 1803.

The app is working in the background as we have it linked with our CRM system and all functions are working correctly.

Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and all C++ redistributables.

Have tried editing <MainWindowLeft>100</MainWindowLeft> & <MainWindowTop>100</MainWindowTop>.

When you Alt + Tab it just shows a translucent window.

Thanks

Hello @interactive9

Can you see the 3CX icon on the taskbar? If so try the following:

Hold down SHIFT and right click on the icon
Release SHIT and click Move
Then with the arrow keys on you keyboard try to bring the client into view

I had tried that thanks with no luck, however, I had just had a new Windows alert which has fixed the problem.

For those experiencing the same issue go to Start > Settings > System > Display > Advanced Scaling Settings then enable 'Let Windows try to fix apps so they're not blurry'

Seems ok now.

Glad to see the issue is now resolved and thank you for updating the thread with your solution. I am sure many people will find this helpful.

Hi Yiannis, thanks for re-opening.

It turns out the above didn't solve the problem, the client has disappeared again now.

This is whats shown when you alt+tab or hover on the icon from the taskbar.

Only thing that worked for me was downgrading the graphics driver.

I downgraded to the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and it works now.

Problem is I've lost the functionality to have dual monitors with my HDMI port as the Generic driver does not support this.

FYI, posted on another message chain here.

If you have the app called "Duet" on your computer, it changes something in the graphic driver in Windows.

Uninstall that application and 3cx should work normally with the 1803 update.
