3CXDesktopApp.exe tcx+app:<HTTP/S link of QR code>

Hi.

You can Decode the QR-Code with an App like QR Debug.

Which QR-Code are you referring to - the one provided for each extension for the mobile phone app? That URL is specific to each extension, isn't it?

Thanks but i think this is meant for the V18 Windows app instead of V20 Store app?
When i try to start the store app i get an access denied in C:\Programme\WindowsApps
How did you do that?

You have a strange way of defining "easier provisioning". It definitely is not easier. Easy yes, easier than before, no way.
Manual is definitely not easier than automatic.
Also it took me 5 minutes to realize I need to supply the PORT in the URL. No picture or instruction says you need to supply the port!

But the main reason I write here is this: WHERE IS THE CHAT???
We can definitely not switch before there is chat. I will use the old clients.
There are reasons to use even the OLDER ones.
Guys really you can't keep removing functionality with every new rewritten version.

It works for either one (v18 electron or v20 store). You just have to set windows to associated the tcx+app: protocol with whatever app you wish to use. No different then setting the mail: protocol to Outlook or Mail app.

At some point the old clients will likely stop working.

Yes I know. Or they won't. This reply doesn't help me much.
I cannot switch to a client that has MISSING features that my company uses.
If this happens, I'll switch from 3CX to something else.
I trust they will add missing features, before killing anything.

No one is forced to use v20 now. You can wait until chat is integrated into this app.

Any idea when the Chat will be integrated? Weeks? Months? Q4?

Just to have an idea and plan around it. I really dont mind using the v18 client for now. I know how hard it can be to develop apps.

+1 for CLI support
