I have read over a similar post on here for this here https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/3cx-with-google-voice-via-obi200.62660/ and this worked for the most part.

The one thing I am having an issue with and not sure if anyone has had this issue but, when I try and change the SP1 inbound call rout from ph the the sp2(10000) setting It always reverts back to ph

Can anyone tell me why or how to fix this as I think everything will work as soon as I can get that to stick.

Thanks
Josh

Did you originally configure the Obi (GV part) using the web configuration service? If so then you need to go to System management/Auto provisioning and Disable the first 4 option groups, then reboot. (especially the Obi talk section). Otherwise the Obi will get it's options from the website where you set-up GV.

I did set it up using the web Config. on Obitalk.
Is there anything on the Obitalk site config that I will need to change or just on the Obi200 (local unit)

Whatever changes/settings you have made on that site, will override any local changes unless you disable the auto-provisioning. I only used auto-provisioning for the GV settings, then manually provisioned the 3CX settings after disabling the updates on the 200

I did the same but the SP1 inbound kept changing back so I will look at the auto provision and see what happens. thanks for your help and I will report back of the status.

UPDATE:
I made those changes and I am now able to get calls to the 3cx PBX.

Now I will just need to figure out the outgoing thanks for the help

Let me know it you can't get it going and I can go over the settings that I've used.

Ok I can do that.

One thing I noticed is that if it rings and rings then it will still go to the VM of the GV account. Where can I turn that off so it just uses the 3cx or hangs up

Also tried to set up outbound rule in 3cx and when trying to call it will just have dead air and never ring. Are there settings in the Obi200 that I need for outgoing? Thanks

Yeah looks like I need help with the outbound settings. Also the issue with the VM of GV

I'll have to wait until I can get into the Obi and I'll go over all of the settings that require changing, there are a lot that are just left at the default.
As far as unanswered calls going off to GV voicemail... that can't be changed any longer. What i do, is sent the call to a Digital receptionist, so that it is answered immediately, then with no delay it is auto-transfered to a ring group. Callers will still a recording and some music.

That is what I will have so it should be fine then.
Ok great as I tried some different stuff with no success for the outgoing calls so looking forward to your reply when u can. Thanks again

Ok...this is going to assume that GV is using ITSP Profile A, 3CX is using B.
These settings work for me. I can't say if they are all required, but because it works, and they were , for the most part migrated from my old Obi110, I haven't bothered to do much experimentation with them. All settings not mentioned, are left at the default.

ITSP Profile B
General
Name= 3CX
Digit Map= (xx.(Mipd))

SIP
ProxyServer = (IP of your 3CX server)
RegistrarServer = (same ip)
RegistrationPeriod = 1700
X_SpoofCallerID = (CHECK)

RTP
all defaults

Voice services

SP1 Service
X_ServProvProfile =A
X_RingProfile = A
X_CodecProfile= A
X_InboundCallRoute = sp2(10001) (your trunk number)
X_RegisterEnable (check)
X_AcceptSipFromRegistrarOnly (check)
X_KeepAliveEnable (check)

Go down to...
CallForwardUnconditionalNumber = 10001 (your trunk number

Some changes from default below this, but not done by me.

SP2 service
Enable (check)
X_ServProvProfile =B
X_RingProfile =B
X_CodecProfile= B
X_InboundCallRoute = {10001>(xx.):SP} (note the } brackets)

AuthUserName = 10001 (your trunk number)
AuthPassword = 3CX password

Note: the X_UserAgentPort = 5061 by default.
This means that in 3CX, in the PSTN Gateway settings, the Gateway port must match this port number.

Oher than network and security settings, that should be it. In the 3CX gateway settings, I have the trunk set to not register.

The system status in the Obi should show SP1 Service (GV) as Connected and SP2 Service Status as Registered (server=192.168.XXX.XXX:5060; expire in 1639s)

Thanks for all that but I have all that done and incoming calls are working The problem is when I try to make calls from the 3CX it just hangs and never goes anywhere tries to call but never actually calls everything stays on zeros as far as time So it's not making it out through the Google voice I think somehow not sure what settings need to be done for that

Check the 3CX Activity Log. Be sure that 3CX is sending the call to the correct IP of the Obi , and the correct port. If the port on the Obi was not changed then it should be 5061, but check the Obi settings. I assume that the Obi is on the same LAN as the 3CX server, as this is going to have issues if 3CX is hosted.

Yes it is on the same lan. And I will check logs. So if I put on a different subnet for the obi you think it will be ok.

If there is no reason to put the device on a different subnet, then i would avoid doing so. .Especially, if you don't even have it fully working just yet. Get it working, both ways, on the same subnet, then move it (change configuration) and see if there are issues,. If there are then you will know where to start looking for a solution.

Ok I'll have to look at that log then and see.

ok I was able to test and get this error.

12/19/2019 1:54:12 PM - Call to T:Line:10000>>1xxx-xxx-xxxx@[Dev:sip:[email protected]:5061] from L:29.1[Extn:807] failed, cause: Cause: 408 Request Timeout/INVITE from local

my obi is the 1.100

So, 3CX is sending the Invite, but no response from Obi. If the IP (of Obi) is correct, it may be that the port (local port at Obi end), is not.
