Yeastar T410 configure as VOIP Trunk for FXO. Just curious under Trunk it has its own ROUTE CALL that I pointed to IVR. My question is what could be the use of INBOUND RULES? I don't specify one but my incoming was working as it is....
This was under the VOIP TRUNK
and this was from Inbound Rule
any advise?
I want to create inbound policy that one PSTN line will directly go to FAX. However, it still direct to IVR.
Inbound Rules can either be DID Rules or CID Rules. DID Rules are rules that will route the calls based on the number/DID called and CID Rules are rules that will route the calls based on the Calling number/Caller ID.
Based on your description, what you need is a DID rule meaning you will need the called number to be presented ,which, depending on the FXO gateway being used, can be tricky.
I would recommend considering using one of our 3CX Supported FXO Gateways instead. Some models allow you to use fixed DIDs where each DID reflects an FXO port and therefore allow you to route calls with DID rules. You could check which supported models can do this here: https://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/
