  <call-waiting active="true"/>
</simservs>

And 3CX responds back as below,

Code:
SIP/2.0 415 Unsupported Media Type
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 11.22.33.44:80;branch=z9hG4bK2m1dsucucsu7d42r1t1m712muT21325

CSeq: 1 NOTIFY

How can I resolve this issue ?

Hello @Jaisal

Is this actually causing you any issues with calls? This is a NOTIFY message from the provider that reports some things 3CX does not support directly from the provider and responds in a 415 Unsupported Media type.
Providers use these messages to convey things like voicemails waiting on the providers side or active forwarding settings.
If its not causing any issues then you can ignore these.

My trunk not responding sometimes. It is trying to reregister but the carrier is not replying back for a Register request. After a while with multiple try, it registers. I doubt carrier not allowing frequent re-register (tried 3600 as timeout). instead they sending notify for keep alive, may be ?
I don't know how can set 3cx to send option message for keepalive towards to carrier.

I haven't seen NOTIFY messages to be sent as keep alive before so I do not think that is the case.

You cannot but you should also not have to especially since the provider is registration based. They could shorten the re-registration timeout if they need keep alive messages.

I believe your best course of action is to contact your provider and ask them why are they sending NOTIFY messages and if there is a way to disable them and if the 415 unsupported media response from 3CX could cause issues. You could also switch to a 3CX supported provider.
