Hi, I am having issues with receiving notifications generated by 3CX PBX. A while ago I was able to get daily reports and clients were getting email when their account was created.
Suddenly it stopped working. I have upgraded to v18 but the problem is still present.

I have an annual enterprise license.

Any ideas ?

I can suggest checking that the public Ip address used by the 3cx machine matches the public IP address of the FQDN assigned to the system, this is one of the security checks that are required to use the 3cx SMTP server.

Hi Charles, thanks for the reply, I did check it and it is ok, a while ago I had to change my public IP and it was reflected also on the 3CX DNS (FQDN), so the IP is ok. Is there a way to check on your side if SMTP server is maybe expecting the old address ?

Could you PM me the first 8 characters of your License Key?

Also, as a quick test, go into "Settings >> License" , click on Edit >> OK and then "Refresh License Key Information". Do you get any errors?

As per our PM conversation, it seems that the 3CX PBX is actually contacting our activation servers from a different IP than the one the FQDN is resolving too.

Let us know what happens once you get a chance to look into the matter.

Boa tarde,

Temos um cliente que necessita trocar o link, ou seja o IP publico que esta registrado o FQDN vai mudar.
O que temos que fazer para trocar esse IP publico no FQDN da 3CX?

Good afternoon,

We have a client that needs to change the link, that is, the public IP that is registered, the FQDN will change. What do we have to do to change this public IP in the 3CX FQDN?
Hi,

I am not sure I understand completely, but I think you mean that your Public IP has changed, and and now you want the 3CX FQDN to be changed to the new Public IP, right?

If this is what you want, what you need to do is:
  1. Log into the Management Console
  2. Go to Settings --> Network
  3. In the "Public IP" tab, set the "External IP Configuration" to "Dynamic Public IP" and press OK.
  4. Restart all 3CX Services.
  5. Wait for DNS propagation (up to 24h)

Thanks for the help.
